a simple contemporary rear extension to a 1920’s terraced house transformed a small galley kitchen and underused dining room into a light, open plan kitchen-dining-living space, with utility room, w.c. and storage. the design retains a traditional front living room, whilst the rear extension creates a contemporary, light, versatile family space.
